i can't believe mel gimbson's anti-semitic slurs. i will never see another movie with him in it. out of principle. 'dances with wolves' was such a great film at the time, he was great back in those days.

something must happen inside the mind of a movie superstar that transform him into a selfish brainless asshole. it's rather sad.

tom cruise is another example. will not see another movie with tom cruise ever again. :)

change of plan

paul van dyk will come to centrla park all the way from eisenhüttenstadt, germany and save me from the cruel white mountain on august 19th. only if i let him though.

do you know how much money i make?

one of the more comical events of last night was when i went into the restroom of a japanese sushi house in alphabet city. some fellow diner walked into the restroom a few minutes later and began to brag about how much money he makes. i just had to assume he was talking to me because there was no one else in the restroom. i am still not sure why he was bragging so ernestly and so randomly but his spiel went something like:

"do you know how much money i make, do you have any idea? "

this was when i was supposed to ask "how much?" but i was more interested in the status of my bladder at that point than anything else really.

"i make sixty thousand dollars!"

and he walked out of the bathroom.

humorous, no? not because sixty thousand dollars is a small sum or a large sum for that matter. it's somewhat of an arbitrary sum, pretty average sum. big deal.
